What to do?

What do you do when you don’t know what to do?

I feel that everyone is designed for one purpose in life.  Some people search all their lives to figure out what that one thing is and others are called to do it from a very early age.  I feel that each and every one of us has a specific purpose in life so my question is. What do you do if you don’t know what you are here to do?  I have asked this question to several people lately because as much as I like my job and have liked my previous jobs I don’t think that I am in the right place.  Will I have peace when I finally get to the place that I am “supposed” to be or will I never be content?  Don’t get me wrong I am here to be a follower of christ, a husband, a father and a friend to many but, professionally where should I be right now.  I really don’t feel this is all that I am going to amount to.  I assume that I just need to pray a lot and really pass this whole question over to God.  I will keep updating on how this all pans out in my life.

thanks for stopping by.

I will try to be better at this.

It has been an eternity since my last blog but lets jump right in to it.

I love this time of year. The weather is getting warmer, the grass is growing and there are quadruple headers when it comes to basketball and hockey. What more can a sports fan ask for.

I went to church this morning and if you don’t know about Gateway Church, check them out at www.gatewaypeople.com. The message today was the last in a series called “My best friend, The Son.” Today the subtopic was “the Physician.” Robert Morris spoke about Jesus’ time on earth and on how he healed ALL that came to him and many THAT DID NOT. He did not pick and choose who he would heal. He did it for everyone. He did not do it for the show or to prove who he was. He simply did it because he LOVED everyone. I am not sure if there are people that read this. Or people that will read this blog that are needing a supernatural touch in their lives. Whether it is physical, mental, financial or emotional believe that Jesus loves you and that is why He will heal you. Simply because He has compassion for you and is just as concerned for you body as He is your spirit and soul. Pastor Robert also stated that healing, like salvation, is received by grace through faith.

It was a great message so I would encourage anyone that is interested to logon to gateway’s website and listen for yourself. I am sure that I have not done the message any justice.
